House rules
What the Stoney Nakoda Hotel Allows
Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino publishes house rules for its hotel guests. This page sets them out in the order a weekend runs, from the front desk to check-out.

At the front desk

The hotel asks for an ID card, a passport or a temporary residence card when you check in. A damage deposit, up to $500, follows, paid by credit card or in cash, and is returned after departure once the room has been checked. Because the check-in time is not published, the front desk confirms it.
Friends who visit you at the hotel register at the front desk. Hotel bills are settled on presentation. Personal cheques are not accepted, so plan to pay another way.
Quiet hours and the late floor

Quiet hours in the hotel run from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Parties and gatherings beyond the registered occupancy of a room are prohibited. The same goes for any gathering that creates noise.
The casino floor keeps a later schedule. The more than 300 slot machines run daily, starting at 10 am and stopping at 4 am. That means the floor and the hotel hallway keep different clocks. If you return to your room after 11 pm, keep voices low in the corridor.
Inside the room
Hotel rooms are non-smoking, and smoking in one brings a $500 cleaning fee. Cannabis is permitted in designated areas only. Other than the refrigerator supplied by the hotel, no cooking appliances are allowed: leave coffee makers, hot plates, toaster ovens, kettles and rice cookers at home. Guests who are of legal age can bring alcohol of their own, but it is for the room only, not the lobby, the halls or other public areas.
Only a limited number of rooms accept pets, at $25 per pet per night and a maximum of two pets per room. A pet found in a room not designated for pets, without management's consent, results in a $250 damage and cleaning fee. Travelling with a pet? Request a pet room from the hotel when booking.
Children and belongings
Please ensure that any child aged 12 or under has adult supervision at all times. Each room has an electronic safe for valuables. Bags can wait in the luggage room when space allows, for up to 30 days, at the guest's own risk.
Cameras come under the house rules too. Photos or videos taken in the hotel may not be used for commercial or public purposes.
